Wells Advisory is pleased to announce that Tayyeb Shah, a higher education and business development executive with deep knowledge of global markets, has joined Wells Advisory in the UK.
A commercially astute leader with wide-ranging international experience, Tayyeb has held the roles of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Global Partnerships) at University of Western Australia (until January 2022) and Deputy Vice-President (Global Business Development) at King’s College London. He has been highly engaged in Asian markets and has very significant experience in recruiting into the upper band of the UK and Australian systems.
At the University of Western Australia, Tayyeb’s portfolio spanned Global Engagement, Innovation & Industry Engagement, the Cultural Precinct and Development & Alumni Relations. At King’s, Tayyeb was instrumental in expanding the university’s international and commercial partnerships, notably in China.
Tayyeb will work closely with Roger King, Director and Chair of Wells Advisory UK and Paul Ramadge, Director and International Practice Lead, to strengthen Wells Advisory’s footprint in both the UK and Australian markets.
Michael Wells, Founder and Managing Director, said: “We are excited to welcome Tayyeb to our expanding team. It signals a stronger presence in the UK for Wells Advisory and a significant bolstering of our capabilities across key global markets.”
Paul Ramadge said: “Tayyeb brings valuable experience and entrepreneurialism to Wells Advisory at a time of huge change in international education and key markets. He will help us partner with our clients, put partners together, and bring new partners to our own doors.”
Tayyeb Shah said: “Wells Advisory is ideal for me at this point in my career. I look forward to working with a range of clients – public and private – and the impressive team at Wells to share my knowledge and provide specific advice and insights on building success in higher education.”
