Michelle Canny joins Wells Advisory as Senior Consultant

We are delighted to announce that Michelle Canny joins our Australian team as a full-time Senior Consultant in our Regulation & Quality practice and working across a wide range of projects in the firm. Michelle is Brisbane-based.

Michelle is a tertiary education specialist. She has held roles as Senior Advisor to the Victorian Education Minister, senior policy roles in the Victorian Department of Education (including as Acting Director Skills Policy & Strategy), with a focus on the VET sector, and has worked as a management consultant at a number of other consulting firms. These roles have seen her work with the most senior levels of government and directly with a range of universities and TAFE institutes in Victoria, NSW and Queensland. Michelle has provided trusted in advice on complex issues ranging from funding and research applications, pathways evaluations, policy issues and business cases. Michelle was most recently Director Policy and Performance Reporting at Construction Skills Queensland.

Michelle holds BEc from Monash University and MCom from The University of Sydney.
