Professor Sally-Ann Burnett is a higher education consultant with extensive experience as an academic leader in the UK and in Canada. She played a significant senior executive role for more than a decade at BPP – England’s first private, for-profit university. She has had a varied, extensive and interesting career across commerce and higher education, including several significant academic leadership roles.

Sally-Ann completed her DBA [Higher Education Management] at the University of Bath in 2009, her thesis is titled: ‘The Impact of Globalisation on Higher Education Institutions in Canada.’ She also has more than a decade of consulting experience, working especially with Dr Tom Kennie at Ranmore and in her own capacity as an HE consultant.

Sally-Ann brings to our team cutting edge experience in the evolving application of public/private models in higher education, models that are currently undergoing a further rapid round of globalisation. Her experience in this, out of both the UK and Canada, combined with a passion for students, innovation, outcomes and metrics aligns with and adds further depth in a number of our practice group areas of strength.
